Its been a while since we’ve blogged but we are busy! The Country Joe show was incredible. We have this friday night in our own “Beanaroya Hall” Curly Cooke with Annette Taborn (Nov 2nd) from 7 to 9:30. Curly is a co founder of the Steve Miller band. And Saturday Nov. 3rd we have Funkmason! a great funky duo with two seasoned veterans of the Seattle Music scene. Starting the first part of May, our Cafe will feature acoustic “Blues” on Thursday eve. Mara Grey on string Harp on Fridays, And revolving world music on Saturdays. All music will be early! 6pm. to 9pm. We are starting to book muscians at this time. We now feature European Beers and Fine wines by the glass as well as world class coffee. Beth,myself,and our great boys just got back from an amazing trip down to Tennessee,Mississippi,and Alabama for the Thanksgiving holiday. Saw our cousins,Went to Morgan Freeman’s Ground Zero blues club,Graceland,Lorraine Motel,Sun records,Stax records,Beal street,and the highlight was visiting the beautiful school my father attended and lived at as an orphan in Chattanooga Tennessee. The Bonny Oaks school. Very emotional and musically inspiring to say the least. I would encourage any musician or music fan to go visit where the music began.

We are just begining our expansion to add a beautiful commercial kitchen and a wine license for our cafe’. We will be doing private dinners once a month, on saturdays, featuring a guest chef each time. Using only the “freshest” local ingredients.
