Pinetop Perkins show
Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011We here at Mukilteo Coffee roasters, as well as all of us in the blues world, are saddened by the loss of Pinetop Perkins who was scheduled to perform here with Willie “Big Eyes” Smith on April 30th. Pinetop was 97 years young and passed at his home in Austin Texas. We are waiting word from his agent to confirm that Willie will continue the tour in honor of his fellow bandmate and celebrate their recent grammy win for their album “Joined at the hip” Stay tuned and the show must go on!
