I have attended several music performances at Mukilteo Coffee, including Danny O\'Keefe (wrote Good Time Charly\'s Got The Blues), Country Joe McDonald, Lost Vaurnets, Alice Stuart and South Whidbey\'s own Western Heroes (fronted by David LiCastro, who also happens to be my bass teacher!).

While the performances are terrific, the venue is what completes the experience. A stage is set up in the roasting facility amidst bags of coffee. It\'s a warehouse-like building in the middle of the woods. The whole experience is evocative of blues juke joints in the south.

Thanks, Gary, for creating such an incredible asset on South Whidbey. I look forward to many more great music encounters at Mukilteo Coffee!
