Long live the Blues

Beth, myself, and our great boys just got back from an amazing trip down to Tennessee,Mississippi, and Alabama for the Thanksgiving holiday. Saw our cousins,Went to Morgan Freeman’s Ground Zero blues club,Graceland,Lorraine Motel,Sun records,Stax records,Beal street, and the highlight was visiting the beautiful school my father attended and lived at as an orphan in Chattanooga Tennessee. The Bonny Oaks school. Very emotional and musically inspiring to say the least. I would encourage any musician or music fan to go visit where the music began.

Happy holidays to you all!

    Gary,
I wonder if the Delta folk had your coffee running next to the hot wired amps if their music would smell as good as it sounds. How about ‘keepin it wired and keepin it alive, dem blues that is….’
I anin’t a poet but I do like the northern light at your place.
